What she loves most about her country is that they are one of the happiest Caribbean nations, and she always finds herself so enamored by their multi ethnic and multicultural society.
Future Aspirations and current/ past accomplishments: Dalise has been very active in the Houston Caribbean community, as she has had the privilege of volunteering for a number of top promoters and event coordinators in Houston such as: Houston Caribbean Festival (HCF), Soca Passion, Lioness Promotions, and Jugglers United. She has also had the great opportunity to be the President of the Caribbean Student Organization at Sam Houston State University for over 2 years, Secretary of the Socialites Marketing Group and Treasurer of the Pre-Vet Society. Dalise also represented Trinidad and Tobago in the Miss Afro-Caribbean pageant 2015, which she won first runner up and also at the Florida Caribbean Student Association International pageant where she won Miss FCSA International. Dalise aspires to become a veterinarian, and she envisions herself owning her own veterinary clinic and animal shelter in Trinidad and Tobago.
Platform: Her platform is animal abuse and neglect. Animal abuse and neglect is currently becoming an epidemic in her country. She hopes to one day make a difference in her country, by reducing the amount of stray animals that are on the streets. She chose Animal Abuse and Neglect because she believes everyone deserves a voice, and she hopes to be the voice of animals that are abused, neglected, and endangered.
